Born from a need for water-repellent outerwear, the Rainwear Collection reimagines the classic raincoat through the Marfa Stance lens. Every lightweight piece is made entirely from surplus materials - bonded Italian cotton and quilted remnants - giving new life to what already exists. Engineered with welded seams and reversible construction, the collection brings duality and design-forward thinking to a functional essential.
Sculptural yet fluid, the Bonded Rain Bomber and Bonded Patchwork Raincoat are designed with adjustable elements for a personalised fit. With room to layer and freedom to move, each piece is engineered to follow the rhythm of the wearer - offering protection without restriction in any weather.
Created for showerproof performance with water-repellent bonded cotton, taped seams and welded construction. Designed to withstand the elements while maintaining comfort and lightness.
Every style is reversible, offering a colourful, contrast-led side to brighten up the day and a streamlined classic side to blend in. Both sides are fully water - repellent and equally functional.
Each piece is crafted in Italy by two family-run factories near Florence – one focused on welding and seaming, the other on quilting and stitching. A single Raincoat takes 26 hours to make, and a Rain Hood takes 5 hours. Every seam is expertly taped using specialised techniques.
Sarah wears the Bonded Rain Bomber in Stone / Black, whilst Jenna wears the Short Bonded Rain Coat. Both have customised with the Elements Rain Quilt Hood.
Julia and Johanna wear their Bonded Patchwork Raincoat with the Elements Rain Quilt Hood.
Jan De Villeneuve, Daisy and Poppy wear their favourite pieces from the Rainwear Collection.
The most versatile and best-loved style in the Rainwear Collection. This reversible and water-repellent design was created as a shorter edition of our original raincoat. Cropped with an A-line cut for a universally flattering fit.
Dial up the contrast or coordinate the colour with our modular range of Marfa Stance liners, collars and hoods.
“Our rainwear may act like a traditional raincoat, but it doesn’t look like one.”
