From the cropped jacket to the bestselling vest and collar, each piece combines by-product Italian shearling, Nappa leather and quilted nylon to deliver warmth, structure and subtle contrast. With a more fitted silhouette and lighter construction than the original flight jackets that inspired it, these styles are purpose-built for life. Each Aviator jacket and vest pairs with a matching Collar for a pilot-inspired look, while the full collection integrates seamlessly with all Marfa Stance pieces. The Aviator group is designed with aligned proportions, fastenings and finishes.

Carefully selected, by-product Italian Merino shearling offers natural warmth and breathability, Nappa leather adds a clean finish and the quilted nylon provides comfort and durability. The multi-faceted construction ensures maximum versatility with lightweight style.
CRAFTSMANSHIP
Each Aviator takes approximately 20 hours to make. A team of eight artisans from our factory outside of Florence, Italy work together to complete each piece, starting with a shearling specialist to hand select the highest quality shearling by-product for responsible production with the utmost care.

INSPIRED
The Aviator Collection began with a conversation - a client in Los Angeles loved the look and warmth of shearling but wanted something more lightweight and versatile. Inspired by this feedback, founder Georgia Dant set out to modernise the Aviator jacket - reimagining the function, refining the fit, redefining the colour with a softly contrasting palette and reducing the weight through the use of single-side Merino shearling that’s scraped on the other, for a butter-soft, hand-painted Nappa leather finish. The result: a revisionist design that balances structure with softness.
