Maya has a deep appreciation for colour, curating her palettes with the same care she gives to assembling an outfit - making Marfa Stance feel like a dream realised. She moves effortlessly between pastels, muted tones, and rich shades like army green, burnt orange, and aubergine, often balanced with crisp white or soft grey heather. Her style shifts fluidly from feminine to androgynous, but is always considered, layered, and full of colour.
Maya was one of the first Marfa Stance supporters, sharing a photo of herself in her Shearling Liner on Instagram during the 2020 lockdown - a piece still available today, complete with an original bright orange Shearling Collar. She and Georgia quickly connected over shared creative values and have remained friends ever since.
In 2024, Maya wears her original Shearling Liner, the same piece she purchased in 2020, but with a fresh take - a new limited edition Shearling Collar made from surplus materials. This updated version reflects her evolving style while honouring the original design she fell in love with years ago, now with a pop of teal to add a spring-like freshness and reflect her favourite colour.

Thoughtfully constructed with buttons around the neckline, the piece effortlessly fastens to any of our quilts, parkas, and jackets, or can be zipped up and worn under or over other garments for enhanced protection against the elements.
