We spent time at their home in the Hamptons, where they generously invited us into their world. There, conversation moved easily between their work and their way of life, the two deeply intertwined. Together, they create with a natural ease, a way of working that extends beyond business into their home, their stores, and the way they dress. There is a coherence to it all: intentional, personal, and deeply felt.
Eric’s path is more fluid, spanning education, community-building, and retail. As the founder of Community of Unity, his work has long centred around connection and impact. More recently, as the founder of Barryville General, he describes himself as a shopkeeper - a role he has embraced for many years. Each of his stores is curated with the same care as an art installation, thoughtfully composed and constantly evolving. Their spaces, often situated side by side, speak to a shared vision while maintaining their own distinct rhythm.
“It’s familiar but done in a very new, modern way. Based on a lot of military, vintage pieces."

Sharone, founder of Pachute, approaches design with a refined and intuitive eye, creating pieces that feel considered, tactile, and enduring. Her work reflects a commitment to quality and simplicity, grounded in a belief that everyday objects should be both functional and quietly beautiful.
“I love erics style so I listen to it”

Throughout the day, the couple are seen wearing pieces from A Shared Stance, shared and reinterpreted between them. A capsule designed to be shared, it reimagines womenswear icons through new proportions, creating pieces that move fluidly across both wardrobes. Instinctive, adaptable and made to be shared.
