MARFA'S FACE OF AW24

Jan De Villeneuve’s relationship with Marfa Stance is thanks to her two daughters, who encouraged her to come out of retirement to be the face of our new campaign, alongside Laura Morgan.

Spending the day with Jan and her daughters on the shoot, Georgia had the idea of capturing their unique family bond through a multigenerational Marfa Muse shoot. Photographed and filmed at their family home in the Kentish countryside, the setting beautifully portrayed their family dynamic whilst wearing their Marfa Stance styles.

Jan's remarkable journey in the modeling industry serves as an inspiration to many, showcasing how passion and dedication can transcend age. With her career spanning over 50 years in the industry which includes being on the covers ofprestigious magazines like British Vogue and Harper's Bazaar, she has established herself as a timeless icon, collaborating with legendary photographers such as David Bailey, Norman Parkinson, and Steven Meisel.

Since coming back into the spotlight in 2017, Jan continues to break boundaries, walking for avant-garde designers like Simone Rocha and Osman, proving that age is just a number when it comes to creativity and style.
