Resourceful Design

Millions of tons of textile waste are produced annually from items that are worn on average of only seven to ten times. By designing a modular ‘kit of parts,’ we aspire to craft exceptional garments for life. A wardrobe that can be built, reversed, deconstructed and reconstructed to create, update, renew and evolve…without the need to discard.

Thoughtful Production and Supply Chain

We continuously incorporate responsible practices into every step of our supply chain. To ensure resourceful production, our design process is heavily influenced by the availability of surplus, deadstock and recycled fabrics, as well as the proximity of our suppliers to our materials, to minimize our footprint.

In collaboration with our partners in Italy, three female-led family-run factories that craft our garments in-house and in small batches, we source and produce with the highest-quality deadstock materials to mitigate material waste. Fabrics that are not deadstock are recycled and located close to our factories. In each seasonal production cycle, we also use up any of our own waste fabrics. Our water-repellant and wind-resistant nylon fabrics are completely free of harmful PFAs (per- or polyfluoroalkyl substances).

Patchwork is an example of one style we design exclusively around surplus fabrics, which means designs are often very limited in availability and once they are sold, we are unable to reproduce them in the exact colour and material. For this reason, our styles are authentic limited editions…limited to minimise the impact on our environment.

Caring Collaborations

For us, environmental impact never lies solely with the design and production of garments themselves. We endeavour to apply the same consideration to all aspects of our business: our packaging is 100% recyclable and made from sustainably managed sources, our notecards are made from recycled kiwi and our tote bags from organic cotton, sourced from an 80% female workforce in India with a clear impact strategy. We also work with Ecologi, who plants a tree on our behalf for every order placed.

Our people and partners are the lifeblood of our business, so we choose them carefully, ensuring a high degree of transparency for ethical labour practices. Our family-run factories, where we have been making 100% of our garments since our brand began in 2019, provide a respectful, inclusive and secure work environment and above-average pay for their employees–along with a clear, transparent and responsible vision for raw material and supply chain sourcing.
