Cali Rand

We are delighted to continue our collaboration with admired stylist and photographer Cathy Katerine, this time with a new Marfa Muse, garden designer and friend, Cali Rand.

Cali grew up on a rural farm near Cambridge and trained in Printed Textiles at Central St. Martins. She was soon persuaded to pursue modelling by her good friend Twiggy, after her first gig walking in Stella McCartney's graduate show.

After two years she returned to finish her studies and went on to work as a textile designer. In 2010 Cali qualified in Garden Design at The English Gardening School, and continues to design gardens between London and Somerset (where she is now based), returning to an instinctive love of natural beauty. View Cali's portfolio and check out her Instagram to see some of her work.

Shooting around the graphic pavements of Trellick Tower, we are taking beauty from the concrete lines and textures. Cali exudes female energy and embodies a more graphic representation of Marfa which recalls AbEx influences and minimalist expressions and progressions inspired by Judd.
